Nissan Navara NP300 Short Entry Snorkel & Airbox

Upgrade your Nissan Navara NP300 with a complete short entry snorkel and pod filter airbox package, designed to improve intake airflow while providing effective protection against dust, dirt and unwanted water intake.

This setup combines a 4-inch stainless steel short entry snorkel with a purpose-built aluminium pod filter airbox, giving your NP300 a more capable intake system for 4WD touring, off-road driving, camping and everyday use.

Manufactured in Australia, the Nissan Navara NP300 Short Entry Snorkel & Airbox package is designed to deliver a combination of airflow, filtration, durability and rugged styling.

4-Inch Stainless Steel Short Entry Snorkel

The Nissan Navara NP300 Short Entry Snorkel is manufactured from durable stainless steel and features a 4-inch intake diameter.

The large intake size is designed to support strong airflow to the engine while the raised snorkel position helps provide access to cooler and cleaner air.

The short entry design gives the NP300 a distinctive 4WD appearance and provides a practical intake solution for vehicles used on and off the road.

Stainless steel construction makes the snorkel well suited to demanding environments where the vehicle may be exposed to dust, dirt, rain, gravel and other harsh conditions.

Designed for the Nissan Navara NP300

This snorkel and airbox setup is designed specifically around the Nissan Navara NP300, providing a purpose-built intake upgrade rather than a generic universal solution.

Whether your Navara is used as a daily driver, work ute, touring vehicle or dedicated off-road build, upgrading the intake system can provide additional protection and functionality in demanding environments.

Always confirm compatibility with your exact NP300 model and engine configuration before ordering.

Cooler and Cleaner Intake Air

One of the primary advantages of fitting a snorkel is raising the engine’s intake point higher on the vehicle.

The Nissan Navara NP300 Short Entry Snorkel is designed to help provide the engine with cooler and cleaner air, particularly when travelling through dusty environments or off-road conditions.

A higher intake position can help reduce exposure to dust, dirt and debris compared with a lower intake location around the engine bay.

For the best results, the snorkel should be combined with a properly sealed airbox and correctly maintained filter.

Three Finish Options

The NP300 snorkel is available with three finish options, allowing you to select an appearance that complements your Navara.

Whether you’re building a practical touring rig or a highly customised 4WD, the available finishes give you the flexibility to create a setup that suits your vehicle.

The snorkel can also be customised further with one of our custom snorkel end-cap designs.

Custom Snorkel End Caps

Make your Navara different from the rest with a custom snorkel end cap.

A range of designs is available, allowing you to personalise the appearance of your snorkel and create a more individual look.

If you have a particular snorkel finish or end-cap design in mind that isn’t listed, get in touch with us. We can discuss your requirements and work with you to bring your vision to life.

Custom options may incur additional costs depending on the design or finish requested.

Pod Filter Airbox

The snorkel is paired with a purpose-built BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox designed to complement the intake system.

The airbox provides a controlled environment around the pod filter while helping protect the engine from dust, dirt and unwanted water intake.

The combination of a raised snorkel and enclosed pod filter airbox provides a more complete intake upgrade than simply fitting a snorkel on its own.

The airbox is designed to maximise airflow and engine efficiency without compromising effective filtration.

TIG Welded Aluminium Construction

The pod filter airbox features TIG welded aluminium construction.

Aluminium provides an excellent balance of strength and low weight, making it ideal for performance and 4WD applications.

The TIG welded construction creates a strong and durable enclosure designed to handle the demands of off-road driving, touring and everyday use.

Keeping the airbox lightweight also helps avoid adding unnecessary weight to the vehicle.

Clear Inspection Lid

The pod filter airbox includes a clear inspection lid, allowing you to visually inspect the filter without immediately removing the entire airbox.

This is particularly useful for vehicles travelling in dusty conditions.

Regularly checking the filter is an important part of maintaining an off-road vehicle’s intake system, especially after extended travel on dirt or gravel roads.

The clear lid provides a convenient way to monitor the condition of the filter and identify excessive contamination.

High-Flow Filter

A high-flow filter is included with the pod filter airbox setup.

The filter is designed to provide efficient airflow while maintaining effective filtration.

The objective isn’t simply to increase airflow; the intake system needs to balance airflow with protection against dust and other contaminants.

This makes the airbox suitable for Navara owners who want to improve their intake system while continuing to prioritise engine protection.

Rubber Pinchweld Seal

The airbox is tightly sealed using a rubber pinchweld seal.

A properly sealed airbox is important because unwanted gaps can allow dust or unfiltered air to bypass the intended filtration system.

The rubber pinchweld seal helps create a controlled enclosure around the filter and provides a clean sealing surface between the airbox components.

As with any intake system, seals and connections should be inspected regularly to ensure they remain secure and in good condition.

Drain Port

The pod filter airbox incorporates a drain port to help manage moisture or water that may enter the enclosure.

This is a useful feature for vehicles exposed to wet conditions, rain and off-road environments.

However, the drain port does not make the intake system completely waterproof. The snorkel, airbox, filter, intake connections and other components must all be correctly installed and maintained.

Black Textured Powder Coat

The airbox comes finished in a durable black textured powder coat.

The finish provides a clean and professional appearance while complementing the rugged styling of the stainless steel snorkel.

The black textured finish is also well suited to modified 4WDs, touring vehicles and work-focused Navaras.

Manufactured in Australia

Both the snorkel and airbox are manufactured with Australian 4WD conditions in mind.

The Nissan Navara NP300 Short Entry Snorkel & Airbox is designed and manufactured in Australia, combining practical intake functionality with durable construction.

The stainless steel snorkel and TIG welded aluminium airbox are designed to provide a strong and reliable solution for owners who regularly use their Navara in demanding environments.

Complete Intake Upgrade

One of the biggest advantages of this package is that the snorkel and airbox are designed to work together.

The 4-inch snorkel provides the raised intake path, helping the engine access cleaner air from higher around the vehicle.

The pod filter airbox provides an enclosed and sealed environment around the filter, helping protect the intake system from dust and unwanted contaminants.

Together, they provide a more comprehensive intake solution for the NP300.

Why Choose a Snorkel and Airbox Package?

A snorkel alone provides a raised intake, but the rest of the intake system remains equally important.

The airbox helps protect the filter and provides a controlled environment for incoming air. Combining the two components creates a more complete intake upgrade.

For NP300 owners who spend time on dusty roads or off-road tracks, this combination can help reduce exposure to unwanted contaminants while maintaining efficient airflow.

The setup is also a strong visual upgrade, giving the Navara a more purposeful and capable 4WD appearance.

Water Crossing Considerations

A snorkel can raise the engine intake position, but it does not make your Nissan Navara waterproof.

Water can still enter through other vehicle components, and a water crossing can cause serious damage if the vehicle isn’t properly prepared.

Always assess water depth, current and track conditions before attempting a crossing. Make sure the entire intake system is correctly installed and sealed, and understand the limitations of your vehicle.

Maintenance and Inspection

Even with a quality snorkel and airbox, regular maintenance is important.

The filter should be inspected regularly, particularly after travelling through dusty conditions. The airbox seal, snorkel connections, clamps and intake components should also be checked periodically.

The clear inspection lid makes it easier to monitor the filter and determine when cleaning or replacement may be required.

Maintaining the intake system properly helps ensure the airbox and snorkel continue performing as intended.
