GWM Cannon Pod Filter Airbox

Upgrade the intake system on your GWM Cannon with the BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox. Designed to improve airflow and engine efficiency while helping protect the engine from dust, dirt and water intake, this purpose-built GWM Cannon pod filter airbox is ideal for 4WD, touring, off-road and daily-driving applications.

Manufactured in Australia and built to last, the BR Customs airbox combines TIG welded aluminium construction, a high-flow pod filter, sealed inspection lid and integrated drain port to provide a durable and practical intake solution for your GWM Cannon.

For maximum intake performance and protection, pair the airbox with a BR Customs snorkel.

High-Flow GWM Cannon Airbox

The BR Customs GWM Cannon airbox is designed to provide efficient airflow to the engine while maintaining effective filtration.

The high-flow pod filter allows the engine to draw air efficiently, while the enclosed airbox helps protect the filter from contaminants that can be encountered in demanding driving conditions.

Unlike an exposed pod filter, the enclosed design provides an additional barrier against dust, dirt and water, making it particularly suitable for 4WD and off-road applications.

TIG Welded Aluminium Construction

Durability is at the heart of the BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox.

The airbox is manufactured using aluminium construction with TIG welded joints, providing a strong and robust assembly designed to handle the vibration and conditions associated with four-wheel driving.

The aluminium construction also keeps the airbox relatively lightweight while maintaining the strength required for long-term use.

The exterior is finished in a textured black powder coat, giving the airbox a clean appearance while providing a durable protective finish.

Clear Inspection Lid

Checking your air filter should be a simple part of regular vehicle maintenance.

The BR Customs GWM Cannon airbox features a clear inspection lid, allowing you to visually inspect the pod filter without having to completely remove the airbox.

This is especially useful when travelling through dusty environments, gravel roads, remote tracks and off-road conditions where air filters can require regular inspection.

Tightly Sealed Rubber Pinchweld

The airbox is designed with a rubber pinch-weld seal around the inspection lid.

This creates a tight seal between the lid and airbox, helping prevent dust and other unwanted contaminants from bypassing the filtration system.

Effective sealing is particularly important for off-road vehicles, where fine dust can quickly enter poorly sealed intake systems.

The BR Customs design provides a balance between high airflow and effective filtration, helping keep your GWM Cannon engine supplied with clean air.

Built-In Drain Port

The GWM Cannon Pod Filter Airbox incorporates a drain port to help remove moisture or water that may enter the airbox.

This feature adds practicality for vehicles exposed to wet weather, muddy conditions and water crossings.

Combined with the sealed inspection lid and enclosed pod filter design, the drain port helps manage moisture within the airbox while maintaining the filtration system.

High-Flow Pod Filter

A high-flow pod filter is included with the BR Customs airbox.

The filter is housed inside the enclosed airbox rather than being exposed directly to the engine bay. This provides a more controlled intake environment while allowing efficient airflow.

For drivers who use their GWM Cannon for touring, off-roading or performance-focused modifications, the pod filter airbox provides a practical foundation for an upgraded intake system.

Designed for GWM Cannon 4WD Applications

The GWM Cannon pod filter airbox is suited to owners who want to improve their vehicle’s intake setup without sacrificing filtration and protection.

It is ideal for a range of applications, including:

4WD touring
Off-road driving
Camping and overlanding
Gravel-road driving
Performance builds
Custom intake systems
Daily-driven GWM Cannons
Remote touring vehicles

Whether you’re building a dedicated off-road Cannon or simply upgrading your intake system, the BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox provides a durable and practical solution.

Pair With a BR Customs Snorkel

For maximum results, pair your GWM Cannon airbox with a BR Customs snorkel.

A snorkel can help relocate the intake air entry point to a higher position on the vehicle, which can be beneficial in dusty environments and during suitable water-crossing applications.

The snorkel and pod filter airbox work together to create a more complete upgraded intake system for your GWM Cannon.

For customers building a dedicated touring or off-road vehicle, combining an upgraded snorkel with a properly enclosed and sealed airbox can provide an effective intake setup.

Australian Manufactured

The BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox is manufactured in Australia and built with durability and real-world performance in mind.

From the TIG welded aluminium construction to the powder-coated finish, every component is designed for use in demanding vehicle environments.

The combination of high airflow, effective filtration, sealing and durable construction makes this airbox an excellent choice for GWM Cannon owners looking for a quality intake upgrade.

Why Choose a GWM Cannon Pod Filter Airbox?

The intake system plays an important role in supplying your engine with clean air.

For a vehicle that regularly travels off-road, simply fitting an exposed high-flow pod filter may not provide the level of protection required in dusty or wet environments.

The BR Customs GWM Cannon Pod Filter Airbox is designed to combine the benefits of high airflow with effective filtration and a sealed enclosure.

The high-flow filter supports efficient airflow, while the enclosed construction and rubber pinch-weld seal help protect against dust and contaminants. The drain port adds additional practicality for wet conditions.
