Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel

Upgrade your Toyota Prado 120 with a purpose-built 4-inch stainless steel snorkel designed to improve intake airflow while helping provide the engine with cooler and cleaner air.

Manufactured in Australia, the Visor Investment Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel combines durable stainless steel construction with multiple finish options and custom end-cap designs. It is an ideal upgrade for Prado owners who use their vehicles for 4WD touring, camping, off-road driving, overlanding and everyday use.

Whether you’re building a serious touring rig or simply want to give your Prado a tougher and more purposeful appearance, this snorkel provides a practical intake upgrade with plenty of opportunities for customisation.

4-Inch Stainless Steel Construction

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel features a 4-inch intake size and is manufactured from stainless steel.

The large intake diameter is designed to support strong airflow through the vehicle’s intake system while the raised snorkel position helps provide access to cleaner air higher up on the vehicle.

Stainless steel is particularly well suited to 4WD applications because of its strength, durability and resistance to corrosion. This makes the snorkel suitable for vehicles that regularly encounter dust, dirt, rain, gravel roads and challenging off-road conditions.

Designed for the Prado 120

This snorkel is specifically designed to suit the Toyota Prado 120 Series, providing a purpose-built alternative to generic universal snorkel systems.

The raised intake position is useful for Prado owners who regularly travel away from sealed roads, while the stainless steel construction provides the durability expected from a serious 4WD accessory.

Before purchasing, always confirm your exact Prado model and engine configuration to ensure correct fitment.

Maximise Intake Airflow

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel is designed to maximise airflow through the engine’s intake system.

A large 4-inch intake provides a generous airflow path, while the snorkel’s raised position helps the engine draw air from higher around the vehicle.

The actual effect on engine performance will depend on the condition and configuration of your vehicle and the rest of the intake system.

For owners looking to maximise the overall benefits of a snorkel, pairing it with a compatible performance airbox can create a more complete intake upgrade.

Cooler and Cleaner Air

One of the main benefits of installing a snorkel is moving the engine’s intake point higher on the vehicle.

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel is designed to provide your Prado’s engine with cooler and cleaner air, particularly when travelling in dusty or off-road environments.

A raised intake can help reduce exposure to dust, dirt and debris compared with an intake positioned lower in the engine bay.

This can be particularly useful when travelling on dry tracks or behind other vehicles where airborne dust can become an issue.

A snorkel is only one component of the intake system, however. Proper airbox sealing, filter maintenance and secure intake connections remain essential.

Three Finish Options Available

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel is available with three finish options, giving you the flexibility to choose an appearance that complements your Prado.

Whether you’re after a subtle touring look or a more customised off-road appearance, the available finishes make it easier to match the snorkel with your vehicle and other accessories.

You can also personalise the snorkel further with a custom end cap.

Custom Snorkel End Caps

Our custom snorkel end caps allow you to choose from a range of designs and create a more personalised appearance.

A custom end cap is an excellent finishing touch for modified Prados, touring vehicles, show builds and owners who want something different from the standard snorkel setup.

Manufactured in Australia

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel is manufactured in Australia and built to last.

Our stainless steel snorkels are designed with demanding 4WD use in mind, making them suitable for touring, camping, off-road driving and long-distance travel.

The combination of durable stainless steel construction, multiple finish options and custom end-cap choices provides a strong and distinctive upgrade for the Prado 120.

Ideal for 4WD Touring

The Prado 120 is a popular platform for touring and recreational 4WD use, and a snorkel can be an important part of a well-equipped touring vehicle.

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel is suitable for:

4WD touring
Off-road driving
Camping
Overlanding
Remote-area travel
Gravel-road driving
Recreational 4WD use
Modified Prado builds
Show and custom vehicles
Everyday driving

The stainless steel construction makes it particularly suitable for vehicles that regularly experience harsh environments.

Pair With a Compatible Airbox

For maximum results, pair the Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel with a compatible BR Customs Airbox.

The snorkel and airbox work together as part of the vehicle’s intake system. The snorkel provides the raised intake path, while the airbox helps protect the filter and manage the air entering the engine.

Combining a snorkel with an appropriate airbox can provide a more comprehensive intake upgrade than installing the snorkel alone.

Always confirm compatibility with your exact Prado 120 engine and intake configuration before purchasing an airbox.

Why Fit a Snorkel to a Prado 120?

A snorkel is both a functional intake component and a popular exterior upgrade for 4WDs.

By raising the intake position, the snorkel can help the engine access air from higher around the vehicle. This can be particularly useful in dusty conditions where the air closer to the ground can contain significant amounts of dust and debris.

For touring vehicles, a snorkel can also provide additional intake height when approaching water crossings.

However, fitting a snorkel does not make your Prado waterproof. Water can still enter through other vehicle components, and the complete intake system must be correctly installed and sealed.

Built for Off-Road Conditions

Off-road vehicles encounter conditions that can place additional demands on their intake systems.

Dust, dirt, gravel, mud and moisture can all affect the quality of air entering the engine.

The Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel is designed to help address these conditions by raising the intake point and providing a dedicated intake path.

Regular inspection of the air filter, airbox, snorkel connections and intake seals is still essential, particularly after extended off-road or dusty travel.

Customise Your Prado

Every 4WD build is different.

Some Prado owners prefer a clean and understated touring setup, while others want their vehicle to stand out with custom accessories.

With three finish options and custom snorkel end caps available, the Toyota Prado 120 Snorkel gives you the flexibility to create an appearance that suits your build.

If you have a specific finish or custom design in mind that isn’t shown in the standard options, contact us to discuss your requirements.
