Isuzu D-MAX 2012–2016 Pod Filter Airbox – Isuzu D-MAX 2012-2016 Pod Filter Airbox (Non DPF model)

Upgrade the intake system of your Isuzu D-MAX 2012–2016 non-DPF model with the BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox, designed to provide high airflow while helping protect your engine from dust, dirt, and water intake.

Built for Australian 4WD conditions, this airbox combines a robust aluminium construction with a high-flow pod filter and sealed enclosure to create a practical intake solution for touring, off-road driving, and everyday use.

Manufactured in Australia, the BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox is designed to improve intake efficiency without compromising the filtration and protection your D-MAX engine needs.

High-Flow Air Intake Design

The BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox is designed to maximise airflow to the engine while maintaining effective filtration. The enclosed design helps reduce the risk of contaminants entering the intake system, making it particularly suitable for dusty tracks, gravel roads, remote touring, and off-road driving.

A high-flow filter works together with the airbox to provide a balance between airflow and filtration, helping your engine receive a consistent supply of clean intake air.

For drivers who regularly take their Isuzu D-MAX away from sealed roads, upgrading the intake system can provide additional protection against the harsh conditions commonly encountered during Australian 4WD adventures.

Aluminium TIG-Welded Construction

The airbox is manufactured from aluminium with TIG-welded construction, providing a strong and durable enclosure while keeping unnecessary weight to a minimum.

Aluminium is well suited to 4WD applications because it offers a practical combination of strength, durability, and low weight. The TIG-welded construction provides a clean and robust assembly designed to withstand the vibration and conditions associated with off-road driving.

The finished airbox is protected with a black textured powder coat, providing a durable finish and a clean appearance within the engine bay.

Clear Inspection Lid

A clear inspection lid allows you to visually inspect the filter without needing to completely remove the airbox.

This provides a convenient way to check the condition of your filter during servicing or after driving through particularly dusty environments.

Regular filter inspection is especially important for vehicles used on dirt roads, construction sites, farms, beaches, and remote touring routes where dust and debris can accumulate quickly.

High-Flow Filter

The BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox is supplied with a high-flow filter designed to provide efficient airflow while maintaining filtration.

The filter works inside the enclosed airbox to help prevent dust and other contaminants from entering the engine intake.

For vehicles operating in dusty Australian conditions, maintaining clean intake air is an important part of protecting the engine and maintaining reliable performance.

Tightly Sealed Enclosure

The airbox incorporates a rubber pinch-weld seal around the enclosure to help provide a tight and secure seal.

This sealed design helps minimise the possibility of unfiltered air entering around the airbox rather than passing through the filter.

The enclosed system is particularly useful for 4WD owners who regularly encounter dusty environments and want additional protection for their engine’s intake system.

Drain Port

A dedicated drain port is incorporated into the airbox to help manage moisture or water that may enter the intake enclosure.

This feature is particularly useful for vehicles used in wet conditions, water crossings, heavy rain, and remote touring environments.

As with any 4WD intake system, drivers should always assess water depth and driving conditions carefully before attempting water crossings.

Ideal for the Isuzu D-MAX 2012–2016

This BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox is specifically designed for the 2012–2016 Isuzu D-MAX non-DPF model.

Before ordering, confirm that your vehicle matches the specified model and non-DPF configuration. This product is not intended for DPF-equipped models unless specifically confirmed as compatible.

The correct intake components can vary between engine and vehicle configurations, so checking compatibility before purchase is recommended.

Pair With a BR Customs Snorkel

For a complete high-flow intake setup, the BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox can be paired with a BR Customs snorkel.

A snorkel can help provide a higher intake position, particularly useful for 4WDs regularly travelling through dusty conditions or environments where water crossings are encountered.

Combining a snorkel with an enclosed pod filter airbox provides a complete intake solution designed around airflow, filtration, and protection.

Built for Australian 4WD Conditions

The BR Customs Pod Filter Airbox is manufactured in Australia and designed with demanding 4WD applications in mind.

Whether your D-MAX is used for touring, camping, farm work, recreational four-wheel driving, or remote travel, the airbox is designed to provide a durable intake solution capable of handling the demands of Australian conditions.

The black textured powder-coated finish also complements a range of engine bay setups while helping protect the aluminium construction.
