Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates

Protect the underside of your Ford Ranger PX with a purpose-built set of heavy-duty aluminium bash plates from Visor Investment. Designed for drivers who regularly take their Ranger off-road, these bash plates provide additional under-vehicle protection when travelling over rocky tracks, uneven terrain, ruts, mud, gravel and other challenging surfaces.

Manufactured in Australia from 6mm aluminium, the Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates are designed to provide a strong balance between protection, durability and weight. The plates are laser cut and CNC folded for accurate shaping and consistent fitment, creating a purpose-built underbody protection system for your Ranger.

Whether you use your Ford Ranger PX for four-wheel driving, touring, camping, work, recreation or weekend adventures, adding bash plates is an important upgrade for protecting vulnerable components underneath the vehicle.

6mm Aluminium Construction

These Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates are manufactured from 6mm aluminium, providing a substantial layer of protection underneath the vehicle without the unnecessary weight associated with some heavier steel alternatives.

Aluminium is well suited to off-road vehicle protection because it offers a useful combination of strength, durability and relatively low weight. This makes the plates suitable for drivers who want additional protection while still keeping weight under control.

The 6mm construction is designed to handle the knocks and impacts that can occur when travelling through rough terrain. While no bash plate can make a vehicle immune to damage, these plates provide an additional barrier between the terrain and important components underneath your Ranger.

Laser Cut and CNC Folded

Each plate is laser cut and CNC folded to create an accurate, purpose-built design.

Laser cutting allows the individual components to be manufactured with precise shapes and mounting points, while CNC folding creates the required bends and reinforcement through the aluminium.

The result is a clean and accurately manufactured bash plate system designed specifically around the Ford Ranger PX platform.

Front, Sump and Transmission Protection

The Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates are supplied as a multi-section underbody protection system covering key areas underneath the vehicle.

The system includes:

Front bash plate
Sump protection plate
Transmission protection plate
6mm aluminium construction
Laser-cut components
CNC-folded aluminium
Australian manufacturing
Mill finish aluminium as standard
Powder coating available on request

By protecting the front, sump and transmission areas, the system helps reduce the risk of direct contact between exposed components and obstacles encountered while driving off-road.

Designed for Off-Road Driving

Factory underbody protection can be limited depending on the vehicle specification and intended use. Once your Ford Ranger PX is taken onto rough tracks, rocks, steep approaches and uneven terrain, the underside of the vehicle can become exposed to impacts.

A properly fitted bash plate system can help provide additional protection when navigating these conditions.

The Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates are designed for drivers who want greater confidence when exploring off-road environments. They are particularly useful for four-wheel-drive touring, camping trips, remote travel, work vehicles, recreational vehicles and modified Ranger builds.

The plates can help protect against contact with rocks, branches, dirt, gravel and other obstacles that may otherwise strike the underside of the vehicle.

Built for Ford Ranger PX

These bash plates are designed specifically for the Ford Ranger PX platform rather than being a generic universal underbody protection system.

A vehicle-specific design allows the plates to be shaped around the relevant areas of the vehicle while providing coverage where it is most useful.

If your Ranger is regularly used on tracks or you are building a dedicated touring or off-road vehicle, underbody protection can be a worthwhile addition to your overall vehicle setup.

Australian Manufactured

The Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates are manufactured in Australia and built with off-road use in mind.

From laser cutting and CNC folding through to the finished aluminium components, the manufacturing process is focused on producing a durable and practical underbody protection system.

Australian manufacturing also allows the product to be developed with local four-wheel-drive conditions and vehicle builds in mind.

Mill Finish Aluminium Standard

The standard Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates are supplied in mill finish aluminium.

This provides a clean, functional appearance while retaining the natural finish of the aluminium.

For customers wanting a more customised appearance, powder coating is also available.

Custom Powder Coating

Powder coating is available for customers who want their bash plates to match their vehicle or other accessories.

If you require a specific colour, contact us before ordering to discuss the available options.

Custom powder coating can be a great choice for customers building a coordinated Ford Ranger PX setup, particularly when combining bash plates with other aluminium accessories, suspension upgrades, recovery equipment, roof accessories, snorkels and touring equipment.

Why Install Bash Plates on a Ford Ranger PX?

For anyone who regularly drives off-road, protecting the underside of the vehicle can be just as important as upgrading the exterior.

The Ford Ranger PX Bash Plates provide additional protection for important areas underneath the vehicle and can help reduce exposure to direct impacts from terrain.

Key benefits include:

6mm aluminium construction
Lightweight compared with many steel protection systems
Laser-cut construction
CNC-folded aluminium
Front protection
Sump protection
Transmission protection
Australian manufactured
Designed for off-road use
Mill finish supplied as standard
Powder coating available

Ideal for Touring and 4WD Builds

The Ford Ranger PX is a popular platform for touring, camping and off-road builds. Adding underbody protection is a practical way to improve the vehicle’s preparation for more demanding terrain.

These bash plates can complement other Ranger upgrades such as suspension, recovery equipment, snorkels, upgraded intake systems, roof racks, storage systems and other four-wheel-drive accessories.

For touring vehicles, bash plates can provide valuable additional protection when travelling through unfamiliar terrain where rocks, ruts and obstacles may not always be easy to see.

For recreational four-wheel drivers, they provide an added layer of protection when tackling challenging tracks and obstacles.

Important Note

Bash plates are designed to provide additional underbody protection, but they do not make the vehicle or its components indestructible. Drivers should still assess terrain carefully and avoid impacts wherever possible.

Fitment can also depend on the specific Ford Ranger PX model, modifications and accessories already installed on the vehicle. Please confirm vehicle compatibility before ordering if your Ranger has aftermarket modifications.
